LECRISTALLIER

On 8 August 1789 at 6.30 p.m., Jacques Balmat, a farmer, hunter and crystal seeker in the Chamonix valley, together with doctor, botanist and mineralogist Michel Gabriel Paccard were the first men to reach the summit of Mont Blanc.
