WHYMPER 1865

The year 1865 is considered to be the moment when mountaineering was born, precisely because of the realisation of the first great ascents on two symbolic peaks, Cervino-Matterhorn and Grandes Jorasses. This is the reason why Maley wanted to dedicate the distillate, made from those apples that still grow today at the foot of the two giants of the Alps that were conquered in the space of 40 days in that summer 150 years ago, to Whymper and 1865.
